Behind the name
Dionne's late Father, Tony Clarkin was the songwriter and guitarist of British Rock Band 'Magnum'. To continue the lifetime work of Tony we decided to name our Music Production Company after his band. We will certainly be keeping the night light burning.
Dionne Clarkin
Dionne has been involved in the music business her whole life. Daughter of the late Tony Clarkin, songwriter and guitarist of Magnum, Dionne has first hand experience in each and every part of managing a successful band including recording and publishing, live tours and merchandising. Most recently Dionne has taken care of Magnum's affairs including organising a special UK tour, whilst forming Magnum Music Productions Ltd with her business partner Ed in 2024.
Ed Cutler
For many years Ed had a home studio setup but unlike most operated with an analogue setup using reel-to-reel tape and outboard equipment alongside a more typical digital setup. In 2024, Ed joined Dionne in forming Magnum Music Productions Ltd which included created a brand new Music Recording Studio in Cannock, Staffordshire. Ed's equipment including a 16-track Tascam 85-16B Reel-to-Reel on 1" tape paired with an in-line mixer and plenty of outboard gear is fully operational and now situated at the Magnum Music Productions Studio.

We have a selection of music engineers who work with us on an ad-hoc basis, as and when required including Mark Stuart, Sheena Sear and Kyle Lamley, all experienced in working on both digital and analogue equipment.
